School of Ministry – Summer / Fall 2024
Hey Calvary Family!
We’re thrilled to announce that the discipleship group I’ve mentioned earlier this year is starting on Thursday, July 18th. The purpose of this group is to provide a “mini school of ministry” to equip Calvary Chapel members who are eager to deepen their walk with the Lord.
We’ve decided to make this group coed and open to anyone who wants to be discipled to follow and serve Jesus.
In today’s world, the need for fully equipped Christian leaders and servants who can rightly divide the Word of Truth is greater than ever.
Who is this for?
This group is for:
- Parents who want to lead their homes in God-honoring ways
- Those seeking a general Bible/ministry school foundation
- Individuals desiring to serve in and lead ministries
- Men who feel called to be pastors or elders at CCMC
- Disciples who want to make other disciples
- Anyone who wants to be fully discipled and equipped to follow Jesus for life
Several people have approached me about receiving a solid doctrinal foundation, so I know this is something that’s on many of your minds.
Meeting Details:
- When: Thursday nights at 6pm, starting July 18th
- Duration: Each meeting will last 1.5 hours
- Dinner: Erin will have dinner ready for us right at 6pm
- Location: My house (unless we have too many people)
At the first meeting, we’ll go over more specifics.
Please pray and ask the Lord if this is something He wants you to be part of. This relatively small investment of your time will have life-changing effects.
